Get to Know Bowling Green Farm

Our Roots Are Deep

Bowling Green Farm has belonged to the same extended family in Southern Maryland since 1800. Over the years, those living and working on the farm raised a wide variety of livestock to go along with garden vegetables, corn, soybeans and, of course, the historic cash crop, tobacco.

In 2016, Derek and Beth Turner moved to Bowling Green Farm with their children, Ruby and Luke. With the help of Derek’s cousin Sharon Farrell and her husband, Jeff, we’re all working together to revive the farm for future generations. 

We’re working hard to provide Southern Maryland with naturally raised, naturally better meats and eggs, perfect for delicious family meals.
