We’re extremely excited to introduce our new limited-edition Bourbon Smoked Bacon, made with our own heritage pork and cured with premium bourbon from Tobacco Barn Distillery in St. Mary’s County.
It’s available on our website starting today, or you can drop by the Farm Shop on Saturday from 9am to 1pm or Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm to try it for yourself.
You’re going to love it. As a bonus, you’re completely free to operate heavy machinery afterward. The alcohol has all been cooked out, leaving only the distinct flavor of smooth bourbon.
We’ve been working with our processor to fine-tune this custom recipe so that it creates a memorable eating experience for lovers of bourbon and bacon alike. In fact, you don’t even have to be a bourbon fan to enjoy the exceptional taste.
Bacon, to no one’s surprise, is our best-selling pork product, so we’re excited to add a special touch to this popular item. We’re also excited to partner with Tobacco Barn Distillery. Like us, they’ve taken a former tobacco farm and turned it into something new for the next generation.
They grow all of their ingredients and distill their spirits right on their farm in Hollywood. They also love to collaborate with other local farms and businesses, and they’ve been a pleasure to work with in bringing this idea to life.
